Thank You My Brothers

I would like to say thank you to Brothers John Leigh, and his wonderful wife and their guest, Patrick Healy and his amazing wife, Geoffry Leigh and his fantastic wife as well, our own Worshipful Master Aaron Ortiz, Brothers Jonathan Quinn, Paul Kornblueh, David Semmens and our friend of Britannia and Worshipful Master Joe Aviles of AzureMasada Lodge No. 22 F&AM as well as his beautiful wife for attending my 4th Annual Cookout.  Please forgive me if I’m forgetting anyone else. We had a great time. I look forward to seeing you all again as well as all of our brothers this September. Events like this and coming together outside of lodge makes our bonds even stronger. And I have to say, our newly raised brothers are helping to bring back something that has needed rekindling for a long time and thats a level of enthusiasm and wanting to do more than just meeting up for meetings. They enjoy meeting up after lodge for drinks and doing things together. Thank you guys for bringing that spark back to Britannia.

I promise this year I will visit AzureMasada Lodge No. 22 F&AM in Cranford since I live right there and support my brother Joe. Our Worshipful Master has also expressed some interest in possibly having maybe our first joint meeting with our brothers in Rahway. I would love to work with the Worshipful Master, Bro. Walter Whimpenny and Bro. Charles Hurley to see if we can get that done and when.

Thank you everyone. I appreciate all your help and participation. Everyone who came helped make it a success. God Bless you all.

  1. It was certainly one of the highlights of my Summer, it was great to see everyone relaxing and having a good time. I will discuss a event idea amongst the brothers in the coming weeks.

  2. I had a blast Jay. Thanks so much for having us. Once again, your birthday BBQ was a huge success. I am going to begin training Tripp for next year's potato sack race now since he seems to need it. Next year I will bring more PBR as well. It seemed to go over really well.

I too was really happy that a good crew of our new brethren turned out. It made me reminiscent of yesteryear when I myself first joined Britannia. I think we definitely need more of these events.
