From The East – September 2010

Welcome back to another Masonic year. I hope everyone had a good summer. It was good to see so many brothers show up at Brother Jay Ortiz’s Summer cookout. RW John Leigh his wife, his son Bro. Geoffrey Leigh and his wife and son. Also in attendance was VW AGL Patrick Healy and family, Brothers Kornblueh, Semmens, Quinn. And from Azure Masada Lodge No. 22 in Cranford NJ, WM Joseph Aviles and his wife.

This year we hope to have an exciting and productive Masonic season. Just to give you a brief outlook at our ensuing year, so far will go as follows.

September – Our first meeting will be a basic meeting and a possible Ballot.
October – I am confirming a possible lecture from our father and son team The Lunds
November – Possible First Degree (Pending the results from the Ballot in September.)
December – Our Annual Christmas Festive Board. (Masonic guess and Prospective candidates invited.)
January – Second Degree.
February – Regular Meeting, Possible Ladies Night. (Pending lodge discussion.)
March – DD Visit. Festive Board.
April – Third Degree
May – Elections
June – Installations

In this meeting I would like to discuss this years scheduling for when we will do our lodge of instructions.

I would also like to discuss ideas on how to bring back absent members.

Please don’t hesitate to come to me with any ideas on how to improve our lodge or any ideas for meeting and or activities. I look forwarding to working with everyone this year.
